Futurepast Inc. Appeals Policy (VVB)
Futurepast may accept appeals submitted by clients when they believe that a validation or verification team member has made a technical error or reached an erroneous conclusion with respect to validation or verification activities.
Clients are encouraged to raise any issues with the validation or verification team leader before making a formal appeal.
If clients remain unsatisfied with the response provided by the team leader, they may appeal the decision on specified technical grounds, i.e. an error based on misconstruing of evidence or misapplication of verification criteria or program rules. Any appeal shall be made in writing and submitted electronically to count.carbon@futurepast.com or mailed to Futurepast at 4250 Fairfax Drive, Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22203.
An appeal will be considered by persons not involved with the planning or execution of the validation or verification engagement. Futurepast personnel will acknowledge any appeal in writing (electronic or by post) and describe the steps Futurepast will take to substantiate and resolve it.
Futurepast will provide the appellant with the outcome of the appeal and, if applicable, progress reports.
No discriminatory actions will be taken against the appellant.
Futurepast Inc. Complaints Policy (VVB)
Futurepast may accept complaints related to the delivery of Futurepast’s validation and verification services. Complaints that Futurepast cannot associate with Futurepast validation and verification activities will not be handled in accordance with this policy
Any complaint shall be made in writing and submitted electronically to count.carbon@futurepast.com or mailed to Futurepast at 4250 Fairfax Drive, Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22203.
Upon receipt Futurepast will acknowledge receipt of the complaint and attempt to substantiate the basis for it. Complaints will be considered by persons not involved with the validation or verification activities implicated by the complaint. Futurepast will acknowledge any substantiated complaint in writing (electronic or by post) and describe the steps Futurepast will take to resolve it.
Futurepast will provide the party making a substantiated complaint with the outcome of Futurepast’s investigation and, if applicable, the actions Futurepast has taken to address it.
No discriminatory actions will be taken against the party making the complaint.
